 Get to know Mack Williams

I am one of the lucky few that have spent their entire life in Gainesville with the exception of 4 years at TCU. What a great place to grow up, raise a family, operate a business and enjoy life.  It is also such a treat that both of my children also live in Gainesville and work with me in the insurance business. My wife, Kathryn and I feel so fortunate to be able to spend time with them and their families including 6 grandchildren.

Prior to working in the insurance business, I was involved with a family retail business, Imperial House. After selling to Service Merchandise, I joined Lee McGriff in the insurance business. My work life has been filled with fantastic partnerships that have greatly enhanced my career productivity and enjoyment. My brother, Gary and I are partners in a mini-storage facility that was formally Imperial House. Lee, my son Bryan and I are current McGriff-Williams Partners.

While not working, I enjoy spending time with family, exercising, playing golf, St. Augustine Beach and watching college sports.
