In an effort to thank the teachers in our area and reward them for the work they have put into preparing for the school year, McGriff-Williams insurance is giving away three $100 shopping sprees for classroom supplies. Details of the contest are to follow.

Please help spread the word: Tell your children’s teachers, your teacher friends and feel free to share on social media.

Who can enter: Elementary, middle and high-school teachers in Alachua county or surrounding counties (Columbia, Union, Bradford, Putnam, Marion, Levy and Gilchrist.)

How to enter: In 140 characters or less, tell us how your classroom or students could benefit from $100 worth of additional school supplies. We encourage you to be creative with your entry. Including a single photo in your entry is acceptable. Only one entry may be submitted per person.

Entries can be submitted using the following:

Email: 140 character entries may be submitted by email to [email protected], with the subject “Classroom Giveaway.”

Facebook: Entries of 140 characters must be submitted by writing on  McGriff-Williams Insurance’s  Facebook timeline.

Twitter: Use Twitter to enter and mention @mcgriffwilliams in your 140 character Tweet.

Entry dates: Entry must be submitted by August 13, 2014.

Prizes: Three $100 Staples shopping sprees for classroom supplies.

Winner Selection and Notification: The three winning entries will be selected and notified on August 15, 2014, by the means in which they entered. Winners will be asked to fill a shopping cart on Staples.com with $100 of merchandise. McGriff-Williams Insurance will order and deliver or ship the supplies to your school.
