Now that the school year is underway, and club meetings, sports practices, and homework have taken over your evenings, we have decided to offer some quick and healthy dinner tips that won’t take up too much of your time and will keep your kids satisfied. All of these tricks are approved by the moms of McGriff-Williams, and are sure to keep the family happy.
Our first suggestion is to use your slow cooker. Crockpot meals are easy to make and can cook while you are at work, running errands, and spending time with the kids. Office accountant and mom of two, Terry Sprague says she usually cooks in her crockpot once a week. Her favorite recipes include beef stroganoff and pulled pork.

Tip number two is to make meals ahead of time. Meal prepping by separating things into freezer bags and storing them makes it easy to grab a bag and cook. For our final trick, Eryn Hartzog, a client account advisor here, said her go to is cooking chicken on her Cuisinart grill and pairing it with a steamed veggie side. For added ease she purchases the veggie steamer bags that steam in the microwave!
