Born and raised here, I’m proud to call Gainesville my home. I’ve been a true gator fan since before I could walk and wouldn’t have it any other way! I attended Buchholz High School and Santa Fe College and still to this day, I love the small town feel of Gainesville. I like that everyone seems to know everyone but there are also so many new people coming and going frequently. I have a great appreciation for the local small businesses in this area, which is one of the many reasons I love working at McGriff-Williams!
Following college, I married my husband Erik in 2008. We spent the first 7 years of marriage traveling, attending all kinds of sporting events, spending time with friends and family, going to concerts, and sharing in fun projects on our home. In 2015, we experienced the blessing of our first child, Beckett. Then in late 2016, we welcomed his little brother Charlie. These boys are the light of our lives and being a mom to them is the most rewarding honor in the world. Although very busy, we couldn’t be more grateful and are having so much fun with them! We all love being outdoors so we spend lots of time riding bikes, going to the park, exercising, and being on the water any chance we get.
I have a passion for helping others and giving back to our community. At McGriff-Williams, we participate in events and support local organizations such as March of Dimes, Boys & Girls Club, United Way, and many others. I’m also personally involved in the Builders Association of North Central Florida and Girls Place, in which I serve on the Board of Directors as the VP of Programs. There’s a special place in my heart for underprivileged children and it’s very important for me to help all children experience a positive, safe, healthy and fun childhood.
I entered the insurance world while still in school, in 2003, at Nationwide Insurance. I worked in the Claims Call Center, Underwriting and Claims. I was a licensed claims adjuster handling non-injury accidents, PIP injuries and attorney-represented clients. Since joining the McGriff-Williams family in 2008, I have assisted Personal Lines clients with their home, auto and umbrella needs and am now the Community Relations Coordinator.
